PRODUCT INFO
This handcrafted narrow wooden bookcase is designed for homes where space is at a premium but style still matters. With its slim profile and four practical shelves, it’s ideal for storing books, displaying décor, or organising everyday items in living rooms, bedrooms, hallways or home offices.
Made to order in our workshop, this slim shelving unit combines clean lines, solid construction and custom finishes, making it a versatile piece that works beautifully as a bookcase, display shelf or compact storage unit.
WOOD
Crafted from kiln-dried Scandinavian redwood, chosen for its strength, stability, and long-lasting quality. The wood is fully dried and planed on all four sides, giving a smooth, well-finished feel while keeping the natural look and texture of real timber.
Kiln drying helps remove excess moisture, which greatly reduces the risk of movement, warping, or cracking over time. This means the unit stays solid and dependable and is far more stable than furniture made from reclaimed or untreated construction wood.
Each piece is carefully sanded to create a clean, natural finish that’s pleasant to the touch. As with all solid wood furniture, you may see knots, grain patterns, or small natural splits. These are not flaws but part of the wood’s natural character, making every piece unique.

Reviews
The shoe rack was part of two items I ordered, to sit in a small space in our downstairs cloakroom. As it matched the coat rack it looked like it would be a good fit. It turned out better than expected when the they turned up and we fitted them in. The shoe and coat rack are very well made and look excellent in the space. Monica was excellent to communicate with, I required the items to have a delayed delivery. Monica advised what to do and sure enough they turned up the day I said we would be available. Excellent customer service and highly recommend Premiumwoodencrates.

This was our second order from Monica, and she very kindly customised the measurements of the shoe rack to fit our space whilst ensuring it matched our first shoe rack bought a while ago! I was really impressed with the speed of delivery despite the bespoke measurements and we're delighted with the finished product!
This shoe storage was exactly as it was described and looked like in the pictures. It was really well packaged and looks great. It fits perfectly in the small space I have in my hallway. Really good buy.
Arrived so quickly, and perfectly wrapped for no damage in transit. Its a shame we cant stand books upright but my daughter is over the moon with it. Thank you!
Such a lovely solid item & matched the description
Customer Service was very responsive when I contacted them
Absolutely love it!
I am so happy with the quality and colour of my bookcase. It was delivered earlier than expected, which was nice.
Just as Id hoped it would look. Nice and sturdy.
I am delighted with my bookcase. It was a custom order tweaking the dimensions/painting of the standard and it was an easy process communicating with Monica to get exactly what I wanted. It arrived slightly earlier than the deadline, with plenty of notice of a delivery date, and was very securely packaged - I might have done my back in getting them out! The bookcase is beautiful, very sturdy, just what I envisioned and I am very happy with my purchase.
Lovely item but was a little disappointed with the top as it had a natural split in the wood. I understand this often happens for wooden items, but would have expected higher quality for the price paid. Seller responded quickly and provided an agreeable solution. Thanks
I am delighted with my bookshelf. It arrived really well packaged and is exactly what I wanted.
Monica responded when I reached out and made adjustments to the measurements to fit the space perfectly.
The bookshelf is true to the colour requested, has a nice weight and has been crafted beautifully.
I would definitely order again. ??
Looks great and is well made and painted . Asked to have the three shelve one turned into a two shelve one to give more room for my books to stand upright and received a quick reply to say that was fine along with the measurements for the shelve hight . Was well packaged to keep it safe while going through the post .
Oh Wow!!!
This is amazing, its a gorgeous well made sturdy bookshelf in sulking room pink and Tudor Oak.
Monica was very helpful before buying it too.
Came incredibly well packed and secure. Waiting for the room to be decorated before it goes in. Love it ??
love this little shelving unit. Ideal size for the space i had and ideal for holding all my tarot decks. I was even able to consult on the colour and get sample photos etc. highly recommended ??
This was exactly what I wanted for my flat, there was nothing like this on the market , it looks great and the quality is good too, really happy!
Lovely sturdy bookcase. Colour is stunning and a good match for curtains. Came well packed so no damage while in transit.
Arrived quickly and very well packed. Quality good and measurements accurate. Would buy again easily. Thank You.
Really pleased with our purchase!
Lovely little bookcase. Well made, the inchyra blue looks fantastic. Can fit quite few books when piled flat. Would recommend, but go for a bigger bookcase if you want to put your books upright in the more traditional way as they won't fit like that on this size, though this wasn't an issue for me.
I bought this bookcase as a present for my husband, it is simply perfect! I requested a particular delivery date and it arrived, carefully wrapped, on the right day. The book case is solid and very well made, my husband is delighted. Thank you so much!
