From a Shed
Woodenify began in 2020 in a small shed at the bottom of our garden. We started together with a simple idea: practical, solid wood furniture, made with care and built to last.
That small project grew into our family workshop in South Kirkby, West Yorkshire. Today, we still make every piece ourselves, from shelves and shoe benches to wooden crates and storage for real homes.

We are a small family team. The people who answer your emails are the people who make your furniture, so you can speak directly to us about your ideas.
We are proudly supported by our two little helpers, Daisy and Molly, our much-loved dogs. They might not handle the tools, but they are our official “design consultants”, giving every new creation an approving sniff or a cheerful tail wag. Most importantly, they keep our workshop filled with joy.

From Timber to Your Home

01 · Chosen. Kiln-dried Scandinavian redwood pine, with no MDF or veneer.
02 · Cut to size. Made in our Yorkshire workshop, with custom sizes on selected designs.
03 · Finished by hand. Sanded smooth, then waxed, stained or painted to order.
04 · Delivered. Carefully packed. Most pieces arrive assembled; legs and wall-mounted items need fitting.

Our family workshop is in South Kirkby, West Yorkshire. We make our solid wood furniture and storage here by hand.
Most made-to-order furniture is ready in 2–3 weeks. Selected crates and storage designs are ready to dispatch. Please check the individual product page for its lead time.
Yes. Custom sizes are available on selected furniture designs. Send us your measurements, layout and preferred finish for a free quotation. Our wooden crates are available in standard sizes only.
Most furniture arrives fully assembled. Hairpin legs and wall-mounted items need fitting. Please check the product details for any assembly or installation requirements.
